Agni Gudda - Sakleshpur
The “Agni Gudda” or Parvat as you would have guessed by now means “Fiery Mountain” for legendry volcanic activities in this region.This location has been an all-time favorite with the youths from Bangalore for trekking, and outdoor camping. The mountain provides a great view of the surrounding rice terraces and a good spot for picnicking and outdoor camping.
Bisile Ghat - Sakleshpur
It is located in Hassan Districts Sakleshpur (Sakaleshpura) Taluk. Bisle village adjoins this forest to the east. To the north it is contiguous with Kempuhole Reserve forest and beautiful Uchangi village. To the south it merges with Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary of Kodagu district.
Gavi kallu Gudda
Gavibetta or ‘hill of caves’ can be found near Somvarpet in Kodagu (Coorg). Known far and wide in religious communities, the caves of this hill are an exciting surprise to trekkers. Only 200 meters from the beautiful lake of Honnamanna, you get to the steps that will take you up Gavibetta. This is the trail. After trekking up wide stairs supported by a yellow railing, you are abruptly led into rock caves towards the right.
Green Route Railway Trek - Sakleshpur
This is a station on the railway track known as "green route" from Sakalesh Pura to the Subramanya Road station This railway station is a unique beautiful spot in the whole railway track because of the dense green forest in which it is situated.
Jenukallu Gudda - Sakleshpur
Jenakal Betta is a mountain lying in Hassan district of Karnataka. Jenkal Betta is the tallest among the other hills in the same range. THe mountain is clearly visible from the Shirali Ghat Road which connects Bangalore and Mangalore cities.
Kumara Parvatha trek
Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha, at 1,712 metres (5,617 ft), is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats ofKarnataka. It is located in the Somwarpet Taluk, 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Somwarpet in the northern part of Kodagu district. This mountain is on the border between Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu districts.The Pushpagiri or Subramanya Hills is the 2nd highest peak of Kodagu.
Hemavati Dam, Gorur (6kms from Karle) :-. Gorur dam is made by embanking river Hemavathi. It located around 6km from karle and 12 km from Hassan town on the way to Arakalgud.
Murkan Gudda trek, you will pass through forest, waterfalls and a big lake amidst the valleys of Murkan Gudda. You can continue your trek to Uddenamaradavaare. On the way you will pass through Saalu gudda and kallu gudda. From uddenamaravaare you will get a panoramic view of western ghat and beautiful kadumane tea estate.
